TMD – Trimix Diver

During this course you bring your skills to the highest level of technical diving. This course prepares you to independently, successfully and safely plan and execute deep dives to the depth of up to 100m by using travelling, deep and decompression breathing mixtures.

 

Theoretical knowledge:

  • Deep-diving equipment
  • HPNS and other physiological and physical effects of inert gases
  • Planning and managing gases/gas-mixing theory
  • Gas physics and physiology
  • Using different computer programs
  • Decompression and treatment methods
  • Emergency procedures
  • Rebreathers

 

Practical exercises:

  • Handling additional cylinders, line reels, lift bags and other devices
  • Dive planning using decompression software
  • Emergency procedures and stress management
  • Four Trimix dives to the depths between 60m and 80m

 

Course duration:

5 days

  • Theory: 5-7 hours
  • Open water exercises and dives: 6-8 hours

 

Candidate prerequisites:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ERD certificate or equivalent
  • At least 200 logged dives, including at least 50 to the depth greater than 30 metres
  • Excellent knowledge of dry suit use
  • Completed medical statement (or a medical certificate not older than one year)
  • Completed liability release and assumption of risk form

Not included in the price:

  • Transport to locations, equipment rental, cylinder re-fills

 

 

 

Consult with your instructor about the possibility of completing the ERD course during the TMD course. Enrolment is only accepted after prepayment/deposit. In the case of unauthorized absence from the course, there is no return of the deposit.
