OXP – Oxygen Provider

During the course you will learn about various Oxygen administration systems and their components. You will acquire knowledge of the pulmonary and cardiovascular system, how they function and how they relate. You will learn proper Oxygen administration as a form of first aid, get to know and use equipment for analysing Oxygen purity and learn how to properly clean and store Oxygen equipment.

 

Theoretical knowledge:

  • Components of an Oxygen administration system
  • Various Oxygen administration systems
  • Care of emergency Oxygen equipment
  • Various Oxygen administration masks

 

Practical exercises:

  • Using an Oxygen system
  • Oxygen administration in an emergency

 

Course durations:

1 day

  • Theory: 4-5 hours
  • Practical: 2-3 hours

 

Candidate requirements:

  • 16+ years old

  • ANDI text – Oxygen Administration for Diving Emergencies, ANDI Adria decal, NRB mask, a wall diploma and a certification card

 

 

 

Recommended is knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, e.g. a certificate from an ANDI CPR course or equivalent. Recommended is knowledge of first aid, e.g. a certificate from an ANDI First Aid for Aquatic Injuries course or equivalent. The ANDI Oxygen Administration for Diving Emergencies course is one of the prerequisites for enrolment in professional training for the Divemaster and Instructor certificates. Enrolment is only accepted after prepayment/deposit. In the case of unauthorized absence from the course, there is no return of the deposit.
